What is the process for sorting through issues/pull requests on Github?

I entirely understand that we’re in weird times and that there are a lot of people attempting to contribute to Jitsi in various ways.

But I’m unclear as to what the process (if any) for getting pull requests approved on github is. From my perspective, it seems a tiny bit random - some stuff is approved quickly, some stuff lingers indefinitely.

In one particular case, https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/pull/6219 went through quickly, but a previous pull containing the same general change (https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/pull/6053) is still lingering. I didn’t respond to the Jenkins message as I’d previously signed the CLA - do I need to respond to that for each PR?

I’m happy to throw time and effort into Jitsi (if this is useful), but the PR queue is just increasing on a daily basis with no real sense that I can find about what gets pulled in or not.
