At Getting started with Jitsi 101 | jbemmel | Katacoda I created a basic “Getting started” with Jitsi, based on the self-hosting guidelines. I am able to bring up and access a web frontend, but when I start a conference the web client has issues with the WebSocket connection. I tried setting the PUBLIC_URL but it remains an issue, possibly related to the fact that there is some NAT going on.
Could anyone here take a look and see if I missed something obvious? There is a free registration required for Katacoda, and the environment is somewhat limited - but still maybe ok for a quick first meeting
