Video Turned Off to Save Bandwidth

Hi,

I had the above with a single connection to France and gave up after an hour.
She was on a Smart-phone and I was on Fedors 36 using Firefox.
My server is a Ubuntu 20.04 LTS updated.

At that time (mid August 2022) I was having poor connections/ISP comms problems a put it down to that but at that time there were no banwidth problems.
After getting reliable internet I tried again and she still kept being turned off, suspecting it might have been her end (France), I did a test last week with two Fedora 36 laptops and no phone, it is still the same.
I can set up the room and password as host but when I join it I still loose the video.
When i did an update it seems to “hold back” five Jitsi updates.
Could this be the reason it still fails if not could you point me to the latest way to overcome this problem?
