Unable to add room password

I just followed exactly all the steps shown in the tutorial hosted by jitsi to install jitsi meet on my own vps (ubuntu 18.04)
But if I want to add a password to avoid uninvited participants, this is not possible because the field for the password itself is greyed out and the add button does not exist.
Thanks for your answers!

Please what to do!!

How did you install Jitsi? What guide did you follow?

what must be done to have the same for meet.jit.si

The guide makes it a little tougher than it should be. But still, I don’t know how you ended up installing such an old version if you just installed now.

Okay, try this:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
