Ubuntu server : No mic and camera

Hi all,

I have deployed a new installation on Ubuntu. The goal is to use Jitsi on a LAN.
During the installation, i had no error.
I’m able to create a meeting.
But when the meeting is launched with 2 people. The microphone and camera don’t work.
I googled a lot on this issue, but nothing.
I was on https://test.webrtc.org/ to check and every thing is ok.

We are able to chat.

jicofo.log

On prosody.log, It’s empty

Thanks for your help

What about with 3 participants, does it work?

I tried with 3 participants, and the issue is the same.

Are the participants in the same network as jvb? Does jvb machine has a firewall?
What about the jvb logs in the beginning, do you see there your private and public address around initiliazing harvesters log … ?

Hum, when you open the room do you see logs in jicofo for it? Maybe there is another problem, check your js console logs for errors.

Are the participants in the same network as jvb?
Yes
Does jvb machine has a firewall?
Yes, all ports necessary are opened

do you see there your private and public address around initiliazing harvesters log … ?

You mean the js log directly from the Firefox ?

Yes,

Sorry for the delay, here are the logs
BroweserLog.txt (12.8 KB)

I noticed something. All the users webcams and mic are muted by default

Is port 10000/UDP open and properly forwarded (if behind a NAT)?
Do you have secure domain implemented?

Hello Freddie,

Thanks for your suggestion.
The port 10000/UDP is opened
I don’t have a secure domain implemented.
About the forwarding, I noticed this :
Can be a track ?

Concerning the firewall, I think every thing is good
ufw_jitsi

Did you try to add HARVESTER lines to JVB config?

Do you think about org.ice4j.ice.harvest.NAT_HARVESTER_LOCAL_ADDRESS=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX ?

yes

org.ice4j.ice.harvest.NAT_HARVESTER_LOCAL_ADDRESS=xxx
org.ice4j.ice.harvest.NAT_HARVESTER_PUBLIC_ADDRESS=yyy

xxx = local IP
yyy = public IP

I added in the /etc/jitsi/videobdrige/sip-communicator-properties, but still issue.
I’m able to see the people connected and to chat.
