Too much noise when setting VOIP as true and when setting VOIP as false, unable to hear audio

Hi, There seems to have some issue with the audio channel.
In the code when I set connection.setAudioModeIsVoip(true); , both users are able to listen each other but there’s too much noise and disturbance but when i set it to false, The user on the web can hear me clearly but I cant hear them on the device (android).
The problem is on android side because web to web call works perfectly but device to device and device to web calling has this issue. I need some assistance regarding this issue.

I’m confused. You don’t need to set this, as it’s already done unconditionally.

I cannot reproduce this. What Android device are you using? Also, what audio device is active, the speakerphone, the earpiece? Are both users on the same room or are you talking to a remotet user?

We are using a custom made VR Glasses.

Yeah, its already set but when i set it to false, the noise issue resolves and i can hear the device user on the web very clearly but cant hear the web user on device.

I’m using device speakers. Although when I insert the earphones, the issue resolves but when i disconnect them, again no audio.

Maybe those VW glasses have poor ConnectionService implementation. Try this, set the call-integration.enabled feature flag to false. You can do this with when you build the conference options: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/android/sdk/src/main/java/org/jitsi/meet/sdk/JitsiMeetConferenceOptions.java#L240

Hey! Thanks a lot for reply.
The issue still seems to exist. Is there a way to change the audio channels?

Also I noticed this in logs.

Also got this in logs.

Those logs don’t give much info alas.

Ignore that, it doesn’t have an effect on mobile.

Change what exactly? From what to what?
