TIP: Test letsencrypt to avoid hitting Rate Limits

For those who want to test if letsencrypt will work, you can use this to do a dry-run to ensure that there are no issues before they run the

/usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh script

Once you install jitsi-meet, dont run the script yet. Make sure the TCP ports are open (mainly 80).

Now do these steps to install certbot-auto

wget https://dl.eff.org/certbot-auto
chmod a+x ./certbot-auto

Now after thats done run this

./certbot-auto certonly --dry-run --webroot --webroot-path /usr/share/jitsi-meet --agree-tos -d meet.mydomain.com

it’ll ask you for an email. if all things are good it’ll say

- The dry run was successful.

Now go ahead & run

/usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh script
