The error codes found so far were 502 and 403. (network disconnected)

Intermittently while using video conferencing

A message stating that the network has been disconnected and that it will be automatically connected after 20 seconds appears on the homepage.

The error codes found so far were 502 and 403.

About 10 users are connecting, and all 10 of them crashed even if they connected with Microsoft Edge, Chrome, and the app, respectively.
(using original jitsi webpage(https://meet.jit.si/) on site)

It started about a week ago and the country of use is Korea.

Why is the message that the network has been disconnected because of the message on the webpage saying that it is reconnecting?

Are you in some kind of filtered network?

Thank you for your reply.

I don’t think that I am using a filtered network because I have used this platform for last 6 months without any problem.

Also, those who had access to Android or IOS apps saw the message that all networks are disconnected.

If that was a personal network problem, only people whose networks were filtered should have dropped; however, the message that the networks of all the users of apps and PC were disconnected and connected again came out. It is simply not a personal problem.

The error codes I confirmed were 502, 403, and 400.

This suggests a problem in our infra.

We are informing you of the observations of the last week’s network disruption.
It was frequent for three days of the week at 6 p.m. and between 21 p.m. and 24 p.m.
In the remaining four days, it frequently occurred between 21 p.m. and 24 p.m.
According to the manager, this is not our problem, but jitsi’s. …?

So how do we cope with it?
Are you planning to update your infrastructure in the future?
What’s clear is that the network has been working well for more than six months, and then disconnections began about only 11 days ago.…

@khwssy0812 are you referring to time in terms of UTC or some other time zone?

the underlying meet.jit.si infra did not change significantly the timeframe that you’re talking about. that said, we have observed recent network connectivity issues with our cloud provider that we are working with them to resolve.

thank you for giving us some data on this. it’s helpful because it gives us specific information that we can ask the cloud provider about.

Thanks @mirth
@khwssy0812 Thank you for the report. We have identified a bug in jicofo that was causing those issues. That was fixed and deployed this morning.

glad to hear it was jicofo, this sounded more severe than i was expecting from the provider!

thanks for your kind understanding even if there was some mistakes in my writing caused by application of KST instead of GMT.

there was no disconnection of same networks after distribution of said correction code.

thanks again for your kind cooperation.

 Thank you for your kindness
