Some people cannot enable mike and/or camera on some devices when using the browser Jitsi Meet

Hey guys,
we’ve deployed Jitsi nightly (from the beginning of April) and started to use it with our clients in a live production environment - online fitness classes.

We use only the browser Jitsi Meet even on mobile devices… we don’t use the native apps.

The device and OS the client uses can be literally anything from Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS…

They use it on their laptops, phones, tablets…

The thing is… we cannot rely on it because some of our clients cannot enable their camera… or some other ones cannot enable the mike because of browser permissions…

So basically everyone can join the meeting and see the other participants and hear them as well…

Just some of them cannot enable THEIR own mike or camera due to permission things…

It’s like 80/20 things… 80% of people have no problems… 20% have camera and/or mike problem… that they cannot enable one and/or the other as well…

I know that some people on iPhones have troubles enabling the camera…

However, if they install a native Zoom app, everything works well… they can access the mike and the camera no problem…

So I was wondering if the problem might be the NIGHLY build that we’re using… and whether the STABLE version from this January is likely to solve these issues…

Thanks a lot for help
