[Solved] What is the <data android:host=> do in the manifest?

    <data android:host="alpha.jitsi.net" android:scheme="https" />
    <data android:host="beta.meet.jit.si" android:scheme="https" />
    <data android:host="meet.jit.si" android:scheme="https" />
  1. what is it related to? What if we keep the above as it is in our app? it is important for privacy and terms purpose in our built.

  2. if .setServerURL(new URL(“https://ourownserver”)) is used in our own sdk, then from where the settings of conference room fetched from when using release build from jitsi github master file? what if I want to disable Meeting Info, Raise Hand …and other links in app?

  3. is there anyway that we keep recording auto ON rather than manually tap for Recording?

Can you tell me a little about this @saghul? What if i changed to our own server? We have already changed server in constant.js

That is standard Android linking stuff. See here: https://developer.android.com/training/app-links it basically allows the system to open Jitsi Meet in case a URL with such a host is visited anywhere on Android. You should change it to match your own domain.

but then what allows to make changes in the conference room options? the interface js file on the web not responsible for the options? From a master file downloaded from github, which js file allows to disable options like raise hands, meeting info and all?

This has nothing to do with the original question.

inteerface_config.js is not currently used on mobile, so you have to manually edit the code to decide which buttons to show or not: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/react/features/toolbox/components/native/Toolbox.js#L238 and https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/react/features/toolbox/components/native/OverflowMenu.js#L81

ok. I noticed… . It would be great a documentation on structure would be described. From installation documentation, most of the things don’t get clear. Thanks anyway :slight_smile:

I don’t disagree :slight_smile:

@saghul I commented the buttons that I don’t want to display in the menu, but when I do, it stops displaying the entire menu and screen displays Blank.

How can I hide these 3 buttons?

Just delete the code. Commenting like that will create a syntax error because you are inside a JSC block and need to be inside braces {}.

Yeah that worked…Thanks
