[SOLVED] Slow Session Accept

Hi,

Is there any way to debug why it is taking very long for Jicofo to receive session-accept?

It takes about 30 seconds to receive a session-accept and it is causing the Android app to “lag” when joining conferences.

This is the prosody log but I am not sure where the session is being created and what could cause it to take long.

Here is the jvb logs as well but there does not seem to be an issue.

I hope somebody could help. Thank you very much!

Hi @damencho any ideas for this? The mobile is also connected using Anyconnect VPN to connect to the server. Would that create this issue?

Thank you.

We solved this. The issue found was inside android/sdk/src/main/java/org/jitsi/meet/sdk/net/ where public static NAT64AddrInfo discover(String host) and public void getIPv6Address(String ipv4Address, final Promise promise) were trying to get IPV6 for the device, however, “ipv4only.arpa” is not reachable and the app will hang until timeout exception has occured.
