[SOLVED] How to allow open moderation on latest updates?

I’m using the latest changes from github docker directly and now the first person to join a room is automatically the single moderator and nobody else can change the settings of the room or kick people/mute people.
Currently however I would like to disable that feature so that (as it was before) everyone can change room settings and mute people.

(long term I might change to having authenticated moderators/rooms and guests joining but for now this solution would be the easiest and should just be a single setting, which I just cant find :smiley:)

Any help appreciated!

The All owners module does this. I don’t know how it’s configured on Docker yaml

Couldn’t find much about that sadly. But thanks for the answer.

ok I figured it out:

Add “muc_allowners” in this block in ~/.jitisi-meet-cfg/prosody/config/conf.d/jitsi-meet.cfg.lua:

Component "muc.meet.jitsi" "muc"
    storage = "memory"
    modules_enabled = {
        "muc_meeting_id";
        "muc_allowners";

    }
    muc_room_cache_size = 1000
    muc_room_locking = false
    muc_room_default_public_jids = true

(Too bad there is no discourse-solved plugin so I could mark my post as the solution. You should install this :smiley: If anyone with enough “power” reads this post lol)

Marked it as “solved”. :+1:t5:

Guess renaming works too, didn’t think about that… Thanks!
