[SOLVED] Getting tracks for existing participants when joining conference?

Having downloaded JM about a week and a half ago, I’ve managed to get DockerJM running on a local server, and with the the help of this example, have made progress implementing a custom UI using the Jitsi Meet API.

My aim is to create a specialized video conferencing PaaS. Thus far, I’m able to:

  • Add the local a/v tracks.
  • Add the a/v tracks of remote users who join the conference after the local user arrives.

However, it’s not clear how to get the list of users/tracks that were already in the conference when the local user arrived. When remote participants arrive after the local user, an event fires, so it’s easy to add their tracks. However, I can’t see in the example code how to get remote users who were already in the room when the local user joined.

Maybe I’m overlooking something obvious, but any pointers would be appreciated.

Ok, I think I have it. I guess the docs aren’t up to date, but apparently there’s a JitsiConference.getParticipants() method, which is exactly what I was hoping for. :+1:
