Hello Martin

I get the message "No changes in CVS" so I guess I'm having the latest
version....
I downloaded it without Eclipse with cvs and made:

ant bundles run

It works then but no menues are working if I click for example on File,
Edit etc. nothing happens?

I have never used ant before so I have a couple of questions .

1)
Everytime I download a new version I have to do like:

a) ant clean
b) ant rebuild
c) ant bundles run

2)
If I want to run the program (if no changes has been made) I do
as in c) above everytime or?

3)
Why do I have to do "ant bundles run" and not "ant run"?

4)
Is this version a working sip-klient is it possible to create calls, set
SIP-server etc?

Regards/D_S

Yes, the current version of the SIP Communicator is not usable yet.

I have never used ant before so I have a couple of questions .

1)
Everytime I download a new version I have to do like:

a) ant clean
b) ant rebuild

"ant rebuild" depends on "ant clean" so this is not necessary to run the clean target before running the rebuild one. And "ant bundles" depends on "ant rebuild", so the above two commands are not needed if you run the rebuild target.

c) ant bundles run

2)
If I want to run the program (if no changes has been made) I do
as in c) above everytime or?

The bundles target builds the OSGI bundles needed to run the SIP Communicator (run target). If nothing has changed in your local repository (not updated the source code with the "cvs update -dP" command nor modified a file locally) then you don't need to run the bundles target again. The run target is sufficient in that particular case.

3)
Why do I have to do "ant bundles run" and not "ant run"?

The bundles target is needed if you modified your local environment (or performed "and clean") and would like to see the modification when you run the SIP Communicator.

4)
Is this version a working sip-klient is it possible to create calls, set
SIP-server etc?

This one no, not yet. But the pre-1.0 version should.
