Hello everybody,

I am interested in Sip Clients configurables, like sip-communicator seems to be. I have followed instructions from page http://www.sip-communicator.org/index.php/Development/VersionControl in order to download latest sources.
I have downloaded latest sources from cvs.dev.java.net and integrated sip-communicator with Eclipse. Then I invoked 'ant bundles' and 'ant run' and it compiles and runs perfectly but I dont know how to make phone calls.

When it starts it ask you for login and password, but what proxy Sip does the sip client use? I have tried to configure parameters such as proxy SIP, microphone.. but none of the configure option appears.

I have been reading old post from mailing list and people talk about Settings-> JMF Registry but I cant find those options. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Do I have to install more bundles?

Thanks in advance,
Alejandro.

Hello Alejandro,

The behavior you describe is due to the fact that the SIP Communicator
is still under active development. The option you mention (configuring
your sip proxy or other properties ) will soon be implemented but are
currently not there.

Thanks for your understanding.
