[sip-comm] Sip-Comm install

#1

Hello,

Thanks very much for the reply. I have ran the
build.xml file and it begins with the term "ant-usage"
and seems to continue to do the ant build and etc, and
at the end it says "Build complete". After completing
all this,I try to run the sip-communicator project,
and I still get the following error:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
net/java/sip/communicator/launcher/SIPCommunicator
Exception in thread "main"

When I click to find the main class in
(net.java.sip.communicator.launcher.SIPCommunicator),
I notice that there are many classes listed. Is this
how it should be. Will eclipse find the correct main
class?

Thanks again,

Denis

Hello Denis,

The default build.xml target is indeed ant-usage. However, as the name
suggests this is only a "usage" target. It does not perform a build. The
"BUILD SUCCESSFUL" statement comes from ant to indicate that it has
finished executing the target.

In order to build and run the project you have to execute

ant rebuild run

Hope this helps
Emil
