thanks for your reply first.
I got it running under netbeans and it is fun. I have also some SIP
Two problems. I have proplems when i am behind a firewall. Is there any
configuration where i can add the firewall IP or something like that. Or
what is the best way to solve the problem.
The other point is i want to hack my account settings in the code. But i
cant find the source file to enter the sip url etc.
The thing with the ip cameras: I have to use them - no web cam. Just now i
am stating with a script the video conference and will start in parallel
the sip communicator. Maybe its not so could synchronized - but anyway so
far i see no ther solution. What do you think?

Re: [sip-comm] simple Voice / Video Application
first of all have you read the documentation about running
sip-communicator in netbeans :
The document must be updated but anyway can help.
You must copy/move from the sources the folder ide/nbproject to the main
folder of the sources
and then open the project from netbeans. This must be enough to rebuild
and run the project.
Issue first "Clean and Build" command on the project and then run.
And about connection data I suppose you mean account data (provider,
username, password ...) If you don't
have account created when you run sip-communicator for the first time
you can see Account creation wizard - choose protocol and fill in the
If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.
What you mean with "connection to IP cameras" ? Do you mean using a
webcam in a call or just watching live video from some ip camera ?
at first i would like to say that i like the project and think it has
a big impact.
The things i (as a user) so far want to set up up a simple Voice
communication with a simple Video screen. I have already implemented
the actual project in netbeans via svn but i dont see the source i
need. How can i proceed? Where can i add my connection data and run it
right from netbeans?
Is it possible to setup easily a connection to IP cameras?
If someone can give me a trail for going on i would appreciate that.
Kind regards Sten
