[sip-comm] JWS, how to ?

#1

Hi all,

I am using a part of SIP-communicator for my project and I want to use JWS for
it. But with Java web start I got a mistake.

JMFInit couldn't set security for:

Registry.set("secure.allowCaptureFromApplets", new Boolean(true));
Registry.set("secure.allowSaveFileFromApplets", new Boolean(true));

and exception:

IOException in readRegistry: java.io.EOFException
[javawsApplicationMain] ERROR media.JMFInit - Failed to commit to JMFRegistry!
java.lang.SecurityException: commit: Permission denied
at com.sun.media.util.Registry.commit(Registry.java:251)

I think it can be problem with certificate. So how is better way to do it ?
With jarsign or signtool ? Or maybe problem not in this ?

Of course I have :

···

------------------------
<security>
<all-permissions/>
</security>
------------------------
in my jnlp.

Can you help me ?

jmf.jar and native libraries also located in JWS.
The same procedure like in original SIP-Communicator JWS.

Of course in my project I am leaved all copyright of SIP-Communicator.

Wbr,

HI Emil,

Please look at http://www.denova.com/ (JExpress Installer)
The price is not too high and maybe for opensource project you'll get
a discount.

But I think, better way create an install packet for each OS.

For windows: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/
For unix: perl + TK
