[sip-comm] Issues SIP account registration in SIP Communicator

#1

Hi Sebastian,

I have my SIP Server running in port 5000 in my computer.
I tried to run the SIP Communicator in the same machine.

Does the problem exist with the test ID (test@127.0.0.1).?
Pls help..

Thanks,
Pranesh.milo

Hi Pranesh,

Registration Details:
1) Under Summary tab : SIP Id:test@127.0.0.1 <Id%3Atest@127.0.0.1> <

Id%3Atest@127.0.0.1> (See to

the attached screenshot - Window1.tiff)
2) Under Advanced tab : Changed the Server port and proxy port (See to the
attached screenshot - Window2.tiff)
3) The summary of Registration details are viewed (See to the attached
screenshot - Window3.tiff)
4) When I click "Sign in" in the Summary Window. I get the following

error.

"An error occurred while logging in with account: User name: test, Server
name: 127.0.0.1" (See to the attached screenshot - Window4.tiff)

Do you have a SIP server listening on port 5000 on your computer?

Cheers,

Asterisk server ( running in a different machine). I received the same sort
