[sip-comm-issues] build-installation-windows

#1

Hi,

The MAIN build.xml has several targets but not the build-installation-windows.
It appears only in build.xml under /resources/install .

Cheers

You have to run the MAIN build.xml with the target
build-installation-windows, NOT the build.xml in the windows-directory.

Betreff: [sip-comm-issues] build-installation-windows

Hi All,

I'm trying to 0btain a windows package of SC and I've downloaded IZpack
and the JRE installer.
I've set the path in installers.properties.
When I launch in build.xml the build-installation-windows target I get

Target "version" does not exist in the project
sip-communicator-installer". It is used from target
"build-installation-windows".
BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds)

I've seen that version taget is on the main build.xml project and also
launching it before don't solve this problem.

How Can I solve this issue?

Regards

Emanuele

Hi,

yes build-installation-windows is in /resources/install/build.xml
but the main build.xml includes that xml.
So the right way to do is call build-installation-windows using the main build.xml.
Actually the right one is "ant make build-installation-windows".

Hello.

again an issue.
I've launched the DEB target and I get the following log (I post the last

As a result I obtain a debian folder containing only a

Hello Martin,
if I launch ant deb from shell I get the following output:

ema@ubuntu:~/NetbeansSIP/trunk$ ant deb
Error: JAVA_HOME is not defined correctly.
  We cannot execute /home/ema/JMF-2.1.1e/bin/java

Have I to set JAVA_HOME in different way?

Cheers Emanuele

Hi Emmanuel,

sorry for the late reply. It looks like you don't have the debhelper tools needed to build the debian package. Try "apt-get install debhelper".

I've just commited a fix that should now warn you and exit the build process when these are missing, based on a recent commit by Emil.

Regards,
Martin

Hello,

I am trying to play a wave file to a caller. I was hoping that it might be as easy as this:

        mediaService.unsetCallDataSource(call);
        mediaService.setCallDataSource(call, new File("resources/sounds/outgoingMessage.wav").toURI().toURL());

This works if I do it before I call:

                    telephony.answerCallParticipant(participant);

But not afterwards.

Is something wrong with my understanding of the model here? Is it not possible to switch from the mike to a wave file and then back again?

thanks, Kim
