[sip-comm] How to set DEBUG_DATA_SOURCE_URL_PROPERTY_NAME

#1

Hi,

I have SIP phone function questions.
I'd like to be able to point to audio file instead of using capture devices.

I've looked at net.java.sip.communicator.impl.media.MediaControl class. It can be done by setting
DEBUG_DATA_SOURCE_URL_PROPERTY_NAME MediaActivator property.

     String debugDataSourceURL = MediaActivator.getConfigurationService().getString(
                DEBUG_DATA_SOURCE_URL_PROPERTY_NAME);

Does anybody know how ones can set this DEBUG_DATA_SOURCE_URL_PROPERTY_NAME property

I maybe missed something but I couldn't find any reference to that property in the GUI. Is there a configuration file I can set?

Note that I'm running SIP communicator on Mac. I really appreciate any help. Thank you.

Thanks,
Soonthorn A.

Hi,

on Mac OS X you can find the configuration files here : ~/Library/Application Support/SIP Communicator.
There you can have sip-communicator.xml or sip-communicator.properties. In both you can set this property.
In the xml file the property will look something like this :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<sip-communicator>
    <net>
        <java>
            <sip>
                <communicator>
                <impl>
                   <media>
                         <DEBUG_DATA_SOURCE_URL value="/Users/user.........">
                    </media>
                </impl>
             .......
             </communicator>
    </sip>
    </java>
    </net>
</sip-communicator>
