[sip-comm] Feature request: Using the keyboard to input numbers while in a call (SIP)

#1

I'm not sure if this is possible to configure, or simply a feature that hasn't been added yet.

I'm not a big fan of clicking on number pads with a mouse or (worse) a trackpad. I would like to be able to input numbers using my keyboard/numeric pad instead. Obviously, I can do this to start a SIP call, but if I'm dialling in to a conference, I need to be able to input the long conference number + PIN after connecting.

Hey Richard,

Good idea! Could you please open a feature request in our tracker?

After you create it, could you please move it to the 2.0 milestone? our
1.0 branch is closed for new features.

Cheers
Emil

Would love to but, as I have have stated in a previous email, I requested the Observer role several weeks ago and have heard nothing.

Hey Richard,

That's strange. Is your java.net user name m0thr4?

I see a request from that user from May 6 and that request was approved
immediately (like all other requests for the Observer role in our
project). In other words you've had the Observer role ever since your
request from last Wednesday. I guess the confirmation mail might have
got stuck in a SPAM filter somewhere.

Let me know if it's working for you now.

Cheers
Emil
