[sip-comm-dev] Yahoo account status set incorrectly

#1

Hello,

I found that setting Yahoo accounts to invidible does not work at all - the account is shown sometimes as away but most of the time no changes can be seen from other computers.
Additionally sometimes i log off an account but in fact it stays online and can receive messages and it is marked as active on others user list.

Are these known issues?

Hi,

no its not known issues. I will check them these days.

Thanks for reporting it

P.S. As you said its shown as Away, you mean the Away status is shown
in the main window - next to the photo if any ?

Hi,

there was a problem with invisible status, thank you for mentioning it.
There was a new service from yahoo called something like toggle
visibility and is now implemented and committed in both
sip-communicator and jymsg.
You can try the next successful build (3076).

Cheers

It still doesnt work as it should (build 3096). I have 2 yahoo accounts
set, they have each other in their buddy list. One of them is set to
invisible, the other to available.
On starting Sip Communicator both show up available - the one that should
be invisible is marked as invisible but it is available in fact. I have to
take it offline/online a couple of times until it is really invisible.
