[sip-comm-dev] [VOTE] Werner Dittmann for committer

#1

Hello all,

I would like to call a vote for granting commit rights (java.net Developer role) to Werner Dittmann.
Werner has provided a lot of help for the ZRTP implementation in SIP Communicator by providing ZRTP4J, and also various patches to the project including:
- improvements to the SRTP and ZRTP implementations,
- improvements to the build.xml to take into account the architecture that we are running on,
- a patch that removes improper logging,
- documentation for ZRTP4J

Therefore, according to the procedure described in "Becoming a SIP Communicator Committer" :
http://www.sip-communicator.org/index.php/Documentation/CommitAccess

I am calling this vote on granting him the java.net Developer role.

[ ] +1 Accept Werner as a committer.
[ ] 0 Does not matter to me.
[ ] -1 Reject Werner as a committer.

Note: Votes from non-developers (non-binding votes) are encouraged since
they show the general opinion of the SIP Communicator community.

Cheers,

···

His joint work with Emmanuel and Romain has made SC one of the few ZRTP
capable clients.

Hi,

Here is the summary of this vote:

+1 Accept Werner as a committer: Romain, Earl, Sébastien, Dai, Michael, Damien, Emanuel, Yana, Lubomir, Emil, Damian, Ken.

0 Does not matter to me: 0
-1 Reject Werner as a committer: 0

Werner, you're now officially a SIP Communicator developer. Welcome to the team!

Cheers,
Romain

PS: You may have received a mail saying your observer role on java.net was revoked, but don't worry, it's just because you've been switched to the developer role.

Thanks to all.

Actually, I already have a small bug that I can fix during the next
days and use my new "power" (first step to "world domination" )
and to test my setup here.

Also I have done some tests to prove the concept I described in my
last e-mail. I'll send you a (standalone) showcase to illustrate
the solution - specifically to Yana and Emanuel.

Regards,
Werner
