[sip-comm-dev] [VOTE] George Politis for committer

#1

Hello all,

I would like to call a vote for granting commit rights (java.net Developer role)
to George Politis (aka "Geekius Caesar").

George got involved with SIP Communicator through GSoC 2009 where he
implemented the OTR feature for various messaging protocols. He developed
the otr4j library that implements the OTR protocol and he implemented the
necessary code in SC to configure and use OTR. In addition George
compiled an adapted version of the BouncyCastle lightweight crypt
library.

George's work has already been integrated into the trunk.

His knowledge of the OTR protocol, the crypto libraries, and the
architecture of SC's messaging and configuration mechanisms will certainly
help us to improve SC.

Therefore, according to the procedure described in "Becoming a SIP
Communicator Committer" :
http://www.sip-communicator.org/index.php/Documentation/CommitAccess

I am calling this vote on granting him the java.net Developer role.
[ ] +1 Accept George as a committer.
[ ] 0 Does not matter to me.
[ ] -1 Reject George as a committer.

Note: Votes from non-developers (non-binding votes) are encouraged since
they show the general opinion of the SIP Communicator community.

Regards,
Werner

Not sure, if my voice counts - being no committer myself. However, I
was his mentor and vouch here for him.
So if you want, count a +1 by me.

George, when you get your commit rights, you may want to add the SIP
Communicator license header to all java files produced by you and
integrated into trunk.
