[sip-comm-dev] Turkish Translation

#1

Hi developers,

While I was searching available sip clients for internship, I found sip
communicator.

In the home page, it is said that helping the translation of sip
communicator is a great way to start open source adventure.

My native language is Turkish and no Turkish translation is available.

Therefore, I want to translate but I hesitate because I am inexperienced.

What must I do first?

Hello,

You can start translating from our translation portal at http://translate.sip-communicator.org where I've added Turkish language for you.

Translating is easy and doesn't require programming skills.

Still, there are some things you should pay attention to:
- {0}, {1}... are parameters which will be replaced by the actual text at runtime, place them as you wish;
- you cannot use single quotes when a parameter is used in the sentence. For example, <You can't move contact {0}>, <Contact {0} doesn't exist>, or <Accept '{0}'> does not display correctly. In such cases, you need to use type quotes twice (''): <You can''t move contact {0}>, <Contact {0} doesn''t exist>, or <Accept ''{0}''>

Some checks are available in the "review" tab to help you polish your translations.
