Emil,

what do you think about adding hush-hush file transfer to the GSOC list?

Just one question, the time on which the application is send, will no be a
determing factor for the selection process, or?

Because I would prefer using the time to prepare my application and
investigate on my project.

Regards,
Jens

Hey Earl,

We first need to integrate the work on file transfer that was completed
in GSoC'08. We could then think about encrypting these transfers.

If you are asking whether we will be applying rules like: "He applied
late so we'll downmark him" the answer is: "No, absolutely not!". The
time of application would not be considered in the evaluation.

That said, applying applications early would leave us more time to ask
questions about points that appear unclear to us. Besides, after you
submit you could still modify or complete your application. You could
also leave a comment in your original application saying that you'll
soon post complementary materials.

Cheers
