[sip-comm-dev] SIP Communicator Without Felix Implementation

#1

Hi,

At first I must say that the SIP Communicator is a great job.

Thanks a lot the SIP Communicator Team.

I have download the source, everything work fine but my problem is the Felix
implementation,

Is It possible to have a SIP Communicator without a Felix implementation?

Thanks a lot.

Hey Daniel,

Sorry for the delay (better late than never right? :))

I am afraid that the short answer to your question is "no".

Right now SIP Communicator is simply a set of OSGi bundles. Our SIP
Communicator launcher simply runs Felix. Once started Felix would
discover, load, and start all SIP Communicator modules. You should in
theory be able to replace Felix with other OSGi implementations but I am
guessing that this is not what you are looking for since I can't think
of any reason why you'd prefer another impl.

Perhaps if you told us more about your intentions we might be able to
help you with something more specific.

Cheers
Emil
