[sip-comm-dev] Sip communicator connection error messages annoyance

#1

I use multiple accounts in Sip Communicator: 1 yahoo, 1 gmail, 1 internal Jabber and 3 SIP accounts - the Jabber and SIP ones are reacheable only at my work via the internal network or VPN.
My problem here is that whenever my VPN disconnects (or it is not connected when i start Sip Communicator) the "Could not connect..." messages appear. Worse they steal focus which is a major annoyance in any situation i type something. And the "Dont show this again" tick is not working. It will show the message next time.
Is it possible to make those messages more passive and informative, like some tray icon messages?
And make Sip Communicator try to reconnect in background.

Regards,
Kertesz Laszlo

It is possible and this is what issue #464 is about. I can't make any
promises as to when we would get there though. Hopefully, it would
happen this year, but again, no promises.

Cheers,
Emil
