[sip-comm-dev] SIP account of SIP Communicator couldn't chat...

#1

Hi all!

I'm developing a SIP based Messenger service by modifying the SIP
Communicator(alpha2).
I'm facing problems used SIP account.
Here, I'm using Weblogic SIP Server - by bea-.
The SIP Client is able to communicate with the Weblogic SIP Server for
registering the User details (like User name, User IP..)
But they couldn't send a message with each other.
- I attached the image about problems.

And,

Does the SIP Communicator using XCAP?
If the SIP Communicator isn't supported XCAP, what's the solution I using
that?

Thank you for your reply.

Chaeho.

Hi Chaeho,

You can send SIP messages only if your provider handles it. This support is optional, not implemented in every SIP server and is sometimes disabled.
So if you want to test the SIP messaging functionality, you should try with another server (iptel.org provides free accounts and their servers have the messaging functionality activated).

I don't know much about XCAP so I'm not able to help you for this point.

Cheers,
Ben.
