[sip-comm-dev] SIP account Login error

#1

Hello Emil,

The ip address 66.66.66.66& exampleserver.com which i have
modified the details for the security reasons.

i have tried deleting the account and adding once again even though
i am getting same problem. i am having a LAN network in my work area
there i have tested in different systems all are working fine, but in
one of the system which i have connected through wireless LAN in it i am
unable to connect using the sip communicator, but i am able to connect
using the xlite in that system with same login credentials.

In the same system by using jabber account in sip communicator i am
able to login& make calls through it& chat etc.

by comparing the scenario with xlite(can send and receive packets)
and sip communicator(can send but cannot receive packets) i can say it
is not the problem with server. it might be i have to enable some
feature in client.

Your server doesn't seem to be replying to SIP Communicator's REGISTER
requests so, provided you've verified your server to work, there's
probably a problem with the configuration. The destination address in
your packet log is: 66.66.66.66. Is this the address you are really
trying to contact or did you manually modify the logs?

Try deleting your account and creating it again by only entering your
username (in the form user@<server_address>) and password.

Hope this helps,
Emil

Hi,

seems there is a problem registering to server. You must check the

Most of the providers will work with just entering username and

If problem persist you must provide us more details so we can clear
this out. Like account settings(without the personal info) and logs.

Hope it helps

Hello Emil,
The dumps which i have sent is of both xlite and SC are from the same system and packet scenarios are as follows

xlite :

Client Private IP ---> Client Public IP ---> SIP server --> Client publicIP --> Client Private IP.

SIP Communicator :

Client Private IP --> Client Public IP --> SIP Server --> Client PublicIP --> X

in the above scenario SC packets are unable to reach.

Yes i am running SC on NAT.

Indeed the responses sent from the server never reach SIP Communicator
so there's little SC could do about it.

In your logs, the address and port used by X-Lite do not seem to match
in the server and the client log. Is this because they come from
different test runs or is it because you are using 192.168.3.3 as a
NAT between X-Lite and the server? Are you running SC on that NAT? It
seems to also have 192.168.3.3 as an address.

Can you try successively running the same test on the _same_ machine
with X-Lite and SC? Can you send me complete, binary, non-obfuscated
dumps? I'd need client and server dumps to come from the _same_ test
run.

Hello Emil,

Then how come they have different IP addresses?

This is my network structure.

Host(192.168.15.100)
wireless router(192.168.3.3)

ISP( or public ip) <----Wireless Router <--- Host

As I asked in my last mail: could you please send me complete _binary_ >non-obfuscated dumps for both SC and XL on client and server side?

i am at present not at my work system, immediately after going i will be mailing with dump.

Hello Emil,

xlite :

SIP Communicator :

Your server doesn't seem to be replying to SIP Communicator's REGISTER

probably a problem with the configuration. The destination address in

Raghu,

Hello Emil,
From server i am able to receive the packets from both xlite and sip
communicator, the packets sent by the server is not received at client end
by the sip communicator, the same packets are received at client end by
xlite.

Can you send me complete, binary, non-obfuscated
dumps? I'd need client and server dumps to come from the _same_ test
run.

You say you have a working setup with X-Lite. Could you also capture

i have tried deleting the account and adding once again even though

i am getting same problem. i am having a LAN network in my work area
there i have tested in different systems all are working fine, but in
one of the system which i have connected through wireless LAN in it i am
unable to connect using the sip communicator, but i am able to connect
using the xlite in that system with same login credentials.

In the same system by using jabber account in sip communicator i am

able to login& make calls through it& chat etc.

by comparing the scenario with xlite\(can send and receive packets\)

and sip communicator(can send but cannot receive packets) i can say it
is not the problem with server. it might be i have to enable some

Hope this helps,
Emil

Hi,

Most of the providers will work with just entering username and

If problem persist you must provide us more details so we can clear
this out. Like account settings(without the personal info) and logs.

Hope it helps

Hello Emil,
i have again tested SC in three scenarios, scenario 1 & 2 tested from the same system which i have sent logs yesterday. Scenario3 is from another remote system.

scenario 1: ( windows old SC versions 3202).

i logged into SC by changing the default port to 5059, it is displaying the same error information.

scenario 2: ( windows updated to SC version 3206).

I am able to login into my sip account and make calls, all are working fine.

scenario 3 ( windows version 3026) : i have installed sip communicator in another remote system to test the same problem form another network, which i am getting the same error even after changing the ports also. i am even attaching the logs tested from the remote system below.

Thanks for your replies.
