There's nothing to setup. Just make sure you are using a SIP provider
that would let the ZRTP packets pass through.

You may want to try http://iptel.org

Hope this helps,
Emil

Oops, hadn't noticed the "chat" part. We handle chat encryption with
OTR. Nothing to configure there either, you simply need to click on the
padlock icon in the chat window.

OTR does not currently work with SIP though so you'd have to use it with
another protocol like XMPP for example.

Cheers,
Emil

Actually ZRTP does not depend on the SIP provider but on the Internet
provider  . ZRTP uses the RTP session only to perform its duty and
the RTP session is normally directly between the participating clients
without involving the SIP provider.

If the SIP provider looks for the zrtp-hash attribute and dicards these
packages (may happen mainly on mobile connections) you can disable
sending of the zrtp-hash attribute in the advanced configuration page
of the SIP account.

Werner

Well it does in fact. Most providers out there rely on "latching" for NAT traversal so their RTP relays have to let non-rtp traffic pass through. By default asterisk doesn't so providers that use it, for example, won't work with ZRTP.
