[sip-comm-dev] SC_Configuration error

#1

Hi everybody,

Few days back I have posted regarding SC-Configuration in Eclipse.

The thing is, I made all the necessary configuration settings after I
checkout the Project from SVN.

I ran the ant target "rebuild" successfully. But when I attempted to run
the applciation, it says the following message:

···

=================================================================
ERROR: Auto-properties install. (org.osgi.framework.BundleException:

I did't find "media.jar" in sc-bundiles. Do we need to get this jar
externally?

one more thing is when I troublshooting my application, I removed to
files from profle: ".felix" and ".sip-communicator".

Everytime When I run SC ".sip-communicator" folder is getting created,
but not ".felix".

Am I getting this problem due to lack of this ".felix" file?

I will be greateful if somebody can provide a solutuion for this.

Thanks

Hi Thomas,

Thanks a lot, it's working now.
What I did is after I received your mail, I had a look at "sc-bundles" folder in SC.
In that I found one more folder named " \sc-bundles\os-specific\windows", here I got the "media.jar".
I simply copied this jar to "sc-bundles" and ran the application. I got the application executing successfully.

But when I run the target " deploy-osspecific-bundles ", this jar is not getting copied to sc-bundiles.
What could be the reason.

Cheers
Sankar

Hi! I just found out, that the target -deploy-os-specific-bundles cannot be
called directly. It's best to add the target in a new configuration after a
rebuild (see screenshot I attach).

Cheers, thomas

Hi Thomas,

Thanks a lot, it's working now.
What I did is after I received your mail, I had a look at "sc-bundles"
folder in SC.
In that I found one more folder named " \sc-bundles\os-
specific\windows", here I got the "media.jar".
I simply copied this jar to "sc-bundles" and ran the application. I got
the application executing successfully.

But when I run the target " deploy-osspecific-bundles ", this jar is
not getting copied to sc-bundiles.
What could be the reason.

Cheers
Sankar

You have to run the deploy-osspecific-bundles target.
