[sip-comm-dev] Request SIPComm version alpha2 for integration in an applet

#1

Hi

How could I get a older version of SIPComm, specifically alpha2 from March
2008?

I’m working with SIPComm to integrate it in an applet following the
Sebastian Heib’s tutorial. The question is that I’m not be able to get
success with the tutorial in a alpha 3 version of SIPComm. So I’ve decided
to try with the original version which was used by Sebastian, because I
don’t see any solution to get a SIPComm applet.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks a lot and best regards

Hello Antonio,

someone else asked some days before a similar question

It seems that the only way to solve this, is to check out an older
revision from the svn. This is possible by checking out by a specific
timestamp, something like that:

svn checkout -r {2009-03-01}
https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net/svn/sip-communicator/trunk

Hi Raina
Thanks for answering, I'm trying to get the version that I want (March
2008). But when I enter into the svn place in the sipcommunicator web page
project I don't know what to do.
I don't know where you can put the code you wrote "svn checkout -r
{2009-03-01}", may be in the text field called as Directory revision?
Could you help me??
Thanks a lot and best regards

Hi,

you have to sign up as observer to the sip-communicator project. A howto
can be found at the link above at "become an observer":

Hello Pedro,

oh, this won't really work, that's true
I am working on linux and so this is meant to be executed on commandline.
If you are working on Windows, the TortoiseSVN
(http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/) extension will solve your problem. This
is an extension for the explorer and it is possible to administrate SVN
working copies. There you can enter the date, while checking out from
the Sip-Communicator repository.

raina
