When I click on File ---> My Chat Rooms ---> Join a chatroom.
The yahoo id is still not listed in the accounts.
Even if we are not creating a new chatroom, this is how we are
supposed to enter the existing yahoo chatrooms right?

(In case you're referring to the chat rooms available through the Yahoo! Messenger software
where people can talk about a specified topic, this feature is not supported in SIP Communicator.)
You can enter into an existing chat room in being invited by one of your contact list buddies.
