Emil,

Sorry for not making myself clearer. gaim has no
support for SIP/VoIP but does allow for 'plugins' to
be developed.

I was wondering if its possible to trigger a call
from
outside of sip-communicator? That is, once
sip-communicator is running, use an external program
to trigger a 'call' event, passing the necessary
parameters, sip address of destination caller etc.

Thanks in advance.

Dennis,

Thanks for this - I'll give it a burl later on today.
Does the Test application allow for the receiving of
calls?
