[sip-comm-dev] Problem with creating framework

#1

Hi everyone!
I am trying to embed felix, but when I create the framework I have an error
with the constructor of Felix.
In theory the constructor needs two parameters: java.util.Map and
java.util.List, but if I create an object of Felix class (felix = new Felix
(configmap, list)) I have a compile error.
I am using Felix 1.4... any idea??
Thanks in advance!!
Rergads,
Marta

Hello Marta,

the API of Felix changed, so the constructor takes only the map. Just
have a look at this
http://felix.apache.org/site/apache-felix-framework-launching-and-embedding.html

The change is fairly simple...the second parameter is now just passed in via the Map, so the Map holds all configuration properties.

p.s. If you could, I would recommend working with Felix 1.8.0 (or 1.8.1 which will be out in the next couple days). There are a couple more changes with respect to configuration property names, so the documentation referenced below is out of date with respect to 1.4.0.
