[sip-comm-dev] Problem with codec h.264

Hi,

I’m working in an application using sip-communicator with SIP protocol, and
when I establish a call with another user I get the following error message:

     [java] [h264 @ 0x4c30040]Missing reference picture

     [java] [h264 @ 0x4c30040]concealing 0 DC, 0 AC, 0 MV errors

     [java] [h264 @ 0x4c30040]Missing reference picture

     [java] [h264 @ 0x4c30040]Missing reference picture

     [java] [h264 @ 0x4c30040]concealing 0 DC, 0 AC, 0 MV errors

     [java] [h264 @ 0x4c30040]Missing reference picture

(probably corrupt input), discarding one

I don’t know what is happening, but the video quality I can see is pretty
bad. I think it can be a problem with the codec h264, but
what is creating
it? The SIP server (I have a ekiga.net sip account)? Or, any issue in my
SIPCommunicator?

Any idea?

Hi,

Thanks Pablo for the answer,

The scenario where I get this problem, is a very simple scenario: I try to
establish a sip call with another sip user, when him accept my invite and
the video start to run, I get that errors.

Do you call from a Sip-Communicator client to another Sip-Communicator client or do you use different clients?

Anyways, that's besides the point. When writing mails to this list we
address hundreds of people and the least we could do is make sure they
understand our message. If you feel there are things you need to say to
one person only and that this person would be more comfortable with
another language then it would be better to use a private mail rather
than leaving all the others wondering what it is that you are saying.

Hope you understand, and again, I apologize for the misunderstanding!
