[sip-comm-dev] Please Help me to Start Development.

Hi Team,

I am new to Sip Communicator, and I want to be part of this Open source
project.. right now I'm spending my time
for understanding coding architecture. and looking for some sound knowledge
to make me start into this project.

what should be the first step you guys recommend me to start experinceing
this sip communicator ?
which codec are supported / implemented into SC ?
Is there any tutorial to start writing code..into SC ?

imho the developer documentation on SIP-Communicator homepage is a
really good point to start (but not completed yet). Check out this link:

Hi Raina,

Thanks for your reply..

I already go through this link.. but what I am actually looking for is to
test sip-communicator with other codec..
like G.729.

but I didn't found any tutorial & project cycle.. to start implementing..
this..

Hello Emil,

I have go through the codec implementation inside Sip Communicator and the
API reference manual but I don't understand the sequence of methods I need
to invoke. Does a class diagram exist to understand the whole structure of
the software?

Try having a look at how other codecs are implemented in SIP Communicator
that might help you.

The better part of the coding however is going to happen once the coding
period starts though.
