[sip-comm-dev] "Pencils Down" Dates Approaching

#1

Hi Jing,

As Carol Smith kindly reminded us, "next week on 9 August is our soft
"pencils down" date when we suggest that students have completed their
projects and spend a week writing documentation and wrapping up their
projects. We require that students stop all coding by 16 August."

I personally last heard from you on July 20th. I sincerely hope you're
safe and sound. Could you please come back to us because you have to
not only implement and integrate the second audio codec but you also
have to clean up and fine-tune the first one, you mentioned there were
problems with repeated encoding and decoding, I wanted an explanation
of a way to reproduce your work.

Best regards,
Lubo

Hi Jing,

We made brief contact with you on Aug 7th (though an e-mail reply to
my first message in this thread) and 8th (over chat with me on
mobile). I said it already by stating that the second codec is of the
highest priority but Emil alerted me that I'd better clarify our
requirements for the sake of you feeling comfortable and not
pressured: the second codec integrated and usable in SIP Communicator
during Google Summer of Code 2010 is what satisfies us and we believe
that you have enough time to do that.

Regards,
Lubomir

Hi Lubo, Emil,

Thanks for the nice tips. I will finish what you required on time. Some
other clean up things and the unsolved problems, I will do it later.

Regards,
Jing
