[sip-comm-dev] [PATCH] new openAddContactWizard method in UIService

#1

Hello again,

This new method openAddContactWizard enables other services and
plugins than UIService to create an AddContactWizard. A third
constructor has also been added to AddContactWizard. These
modifications shouldn't be too invasive.

Cheers,

ui_open_add_contact_wizard.patch (2.45 KB)

Hi Sebastien,

we actually already have a method giving access to the add contact wizard and this is the getExportedWindow() in the UIService. You could use is as:

ExportedWindow dialog
                 = uiService.getExportedWindow(
                     ExportedWindow.ADD_CONTACT_WINDOW);

dialog.setVisible(true);

Is it what you were looking for? Let me know if you experience any problems with it.

Cheers,
Yana

Thanks for your reply.

Almost. I want to open this wizard with the identifier field
(toto@im.tld) already completed. Is it possible to pass this
information to the UI service currently?

Cheers,
