[sip-comm-dev] Need Help

#1

I created a local database in MYSQL to save the chat history. But there is a problem connecting SIP with the database. The J connector was added as an external JAR file in Eclipse and still getting the Class not found exception.
But i created a test project and did the same thing and it connected.
So i cant figure out why it is not connecting when used in SIP and connects used in a separate project.
I'm building the source code using ant commands. Does this problem has anything to do with ant??

Please i need some answers

Thank You

Hi Sunera,

Make sure you've added the Jconnector jar to the bundle, where you're using it (have a look to other bundle targets in the build.xml).

SIP Communicator uses the OSGI architecture, which implies some specific rules. You can check these tutorials for more information:
- http://oscar-osgi.sourceforge.net/tutorial/index.html.

Cheers,
Yana
