recently a problem was discovered concerning NAT bindings in some routers.
I've search and saw that the default value of "/proc/sys/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack_udp_timeout"
is 30 seconds.
If a sip account is registered and is registering in period of 3 minutes
and during this period does not receive any packets the nat bindings expires and then
the problem comes as for example the presence statuses of some sip contacts in the contact list
are not correct.
I've made that the registering frequency to be forced through a property REGISTRATION_ANTICIPATION
in the account properties. This property does not affect expiration header value.
What do you think about this should we made this with default value of 25 seconds for all created sip accounts in
