[sip-comm-dev] How to Subscribe to ContactPresenceStatusListener

#1

Hi everybody,

i am trying to implement the ContactPresenceStatusListener in a way that it returns all the change events in a separate window. (the messages displayed there are similar to that, which are displayed in open chat windows, when the contact changes its status)

in the despriction of ContactPresenceStatusListener it is said, that the listener has to subscribe for all the contacts he is interested in.

unfortunaly, i can't find these subscriptions.

does anybody know how to do it?

thanks a lot

best regards

What we meant to say is that after you have registered your listener in
the presence operation set, it would be notified of status changes in
any of the contacts that you have subscribed for (i.e., any contact in
your contact list that originated from this protocol). In order to
subscribe to a contact (i.e., add it to your contact list) you need to
use the subscribe method in the presence operation set but that happens
independently of the listener.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Thx for your help. But I can't see where I can get these PresenceOperationSets in my
plugin without editing the original code.

Is there an easy way to get the PresenceOperationSets that I'm not seeing at the moment?

Regards
