[sip-comm-dev] [FOSDEM] Accepted: stand for SIP Communicator

#1

Hey folks,

A quick note to let you all know that we have been accepted for a stand
in next year's edition of FOSDEM!

The conference will happen on the weekend of February 7 and 8.

Needless to say this is a great opportunity for us to present the
project and attract interest (and hopefully new contributors as well
). The event would be taking place shortly after the release of our rc1
version which is simply fabulous.

We now need to decide what exactly we are going to do with our stand,
designate coordinators and start the preparations.

The discussion is hereby open.

Cheers
Emil

Hey Emil,

That's great to hear! I guess a nice demonstration of SC would be neat: for example a voice & video call with ZRTP and Zfone at the other side. That would should video, secured media and interoperability aspect of SC.

Cheers,
romain

Yes, definitely a good idea.

We should also bring some goodies such as posters and stickers. I'll try
to look into this. Depending on how much of the GSoC money remains after
paying the travel expenses we could also think about more expensive
stuff such as t-shirts.

Other ideas?
