[sip-comm-dev] empty lines in manifest files for rss

#1

Hi,

Two little patchs to fix build error on ms windows, due to empty lines in manifest files.

The patchs simply remove empty lines and we can build happily.

===errors when building on ms windows===

Manifest is invalid: Manifest sections should start with a "Name" attribute and not "Bundle-Name"
sip-communicator\build.xml:1553: Invalid Manifest:
sip-communicator\src\net\java\sip\communicator\impl\protocol\rss\rss.provider.manifest.mf

Manifest is invalid: Manifest sections should start with a "Name" attribute and not "Bundle-Name"
sip-communicator\build.xml:1571: Invalid Manifest:
sip-communicator\src\net\java\sip\communicator\plugin\rssaccregwizz\rssaccregwizz.manifest.mf

rss.prodider.manifest.mf.patch (1.29 KB)

rssaccregwizz.manifest.mf.patch (1.84 KB)

Hi Sympho,

That's strange. I don't see any empty lines here:

https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net/source/browse/checkout/sip-communicator/src/net/java/sip/communicator/impl/protocol/rss/rss.provider.manifest.mf

nor here:

https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net/source/browse/checkout/sip-communicator/src/net/java/sip/communicator/plugin/rssaccregwizz/rssaccregwizz.manifest.mf

Could this be a problem with the CVS client you are using?

Bizarre.

I have extra Carriage Return in those 2 files only. But the
online version on the repository seems to be correct.

I have tried 2 cvs clients with the same result (the netbeans's one and a standalone). Probably a bug on my system. I will workaround.
