[sip-comm-dev] CVS

#1

Hi

i saw someone complaining about CVS access on sip-communicator-1.0-draft. I'm an observer too and my CVS client (command line and inside eclipse) says that i have no ritghs to checkout this module.

By the way, after this error, i tried to checkout the module "sip-communicator-1.0" which worked fine.

Hi,

I think there is an actual spelling in sip-communicator-1-0-draft if you
copy and paste it from the site documentation.

If you remove the dash in between 1 and 0, and retype it this should solve
the problem.

The name of the project containing 1.0 code is

  sip-communicator-1-0-draft

The cvs command that downloads it is:

  cvs -d :pserver:guest@cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs co sip-communicator-1-0-draft

Could anyone please confirm that I am not the only one who runs this command successfully?

Cheers
Emil

It went allright authenticating as a guest. It didn't as a normal java.net user, observer for the project, but that's not a prob as long as it works in some way.

Best regards

Works OK for me too, but I'm a developer (not an observer).

However, I used the command under NetBeans, not a command-line client. As usual, I hit an old snag... when I try to get a list of the available modules, it is always empty. However, when I explicitly checkout a
module (without spelling or case-sensitive errors!), it works fine.
Regards,

Brian
