BTW, is cruisecontrol also runned on the alpha2 branch code?
It is now. At least I think so. There will probably be problems during
the first builds but I'll fix them.
We also need all package maintainers to take care of some details. Part
of the cruisecontrol build consists in calling scripts that create
installation packages for different operating systems and these need to
be duplicated (or disabled) for the alpha2 builds.
Here's a list of things that package maintainers would probably have to
take care of:
All: In you primary scripts, change all occurrences of alpha2 to alpha3.
The primary nightly build is now called alpha3.nightly
All: Make sure that alpha2 uploads go to the alpha2 directory on
download.sip-communicator.org and not to the nightly builds directory
Mac OS X: I've made that alpha2 build call the following script for the
DMGs: /path/to/sipcomm/sipco-alpha2/build.sh $1 &. Romain, could you
please copy your sipco directory to sipco-alpha2. This (in addition to
changing the target upload location) should be enough.
Fedora: Pavka, I've duplicated the rpmbuild directory on the
cruisecontrol machine, so now we have ~/rpmbuild and ~/rpmbuild-alpha2.
Can you have a look and make sure that I didn't mess anything up?
I don't think these need any changes but if you could guys just
have a look and make sure that they are properly built for both alpha2
and alpha3 - that would be great.
