[sip-comm-dev] Connected Protocols in SC

#1

Hello Devs,
I am working on the plugin to reconnect a protocol after network failure.
My question here is that, how can I detect the currently connected accounts
of a specific protocol. I am sure that there is some service available to
provide information about connected protocols but I don't know where it is
and how to use it.
So please help me in this regard.

Hi Ajay,

Wouldn't it revolve around the ProtocolProviderService
registrationState we talked on IRC about? There's also a
presenceStatus through OperationSetPresence (if it's supported) in
case the presence is of interest.

Otherwise, listing the ProtocolProviderServices should be easy because
it's already done: just look for references to ProtocolProviderService
and locate the code which asks a BundleContext for the registered
ProtocolProviderServices.

Regards,
Lubo
