[sip-comm-dev] Chat room member roles in SC

Hi all,

I'm writing this mail because I'm a little confused about the roles for chat room members
which are described in SIP Communicator (service.protocol.ChatRoomMemberRole).

Javadoc says for both Guest and Member: "A role implying standard participant permissions."
So what's the difference to make between this two roles?

Not sure if this helps, but in XMPP chat rooms we distinguish between
short-term, in-room roles and long-term affiliations. Once in the room,
both guests ("visitors" in XMPP) members usually have the same perms,
but membership is a long-term affiliation. More here:
